We preserve and celebrate Ukrainian culture: we aim to preserve and celebrate the Ukrainian community's unique traditions, customs, and heritage through cultural events. This could include showcasing traditional food, music, dance, arts and crafts, and other cultural expressions We foster a sense of community: we strive to create a sense of community and belonging among members of the Ukrainian community in Vancouver through cultural events. This could involve bringing together individuals from different generations and backgrounds and providing opportunities for them to connect and engage with one another. We educate and raise awareness: we aim to educate the broader community about Ukrainian culture and traditions and raise awareness about the history, values, and contributions of the Ukrainian community in the USA. We promote diversity and inclusion: we promote diversity and inclusion by welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to participate in the cultural event. We encourage participation and engagement: we encourage active participation and engagement from members of the Ukrainian community in planning and organizing the cultural event, as well as promoting volunteerism and community involvement more broadly. We Support local businesses: we support local businesses by showcasing Ukrainian-owned or operated businesses and vendors, and providing opportunities for them to participate in cultural events, creating business forums within the community.
